3C Guiding, LLC, based out of Laramie, Wyoming, is a fully permitted and insured snowmobile guide service. We operate on the Medicine Bow-Routt National Forest, which most know as “Snowy Range and Sierra Madres” in Southeast Wyoming. We also operate on the Shoshone Forest and Bridger-Teton forests or as most know “Togwotee Pass”.
3C Guiding offers two different guided experiences here at 3C Guiding.
Backcountry Guide Package
Rasmussen Style Guide Package
Whichever you choose, you will be certain to receive the best snowmobiling experience Wyoming has to offer. Your guided experience will start at 8:00 AM and last until 5:00 PM. You will get to see and experience some of the deepest snow and most remote areas in Wyoming.
3C Guiding is proud of their guides’ abilities to work equally well with first time riders as well as expert seasoned veterans. If you are new to the sport of snowmobiling, your 3C guide will work with you to help develop your riding style and new techniques such as:
- Riding in tight trees
- Boon-docking
- Hill climbing
- Jumping
The 3C team will help you hone your skills if you strive to ride like the pros. If you are already a pro, your 3C guide will get you in the “deepest and steepest” right away, so that none of your trip is spent searching new areas. Utilization of trail systems are merely for leaving the parking lot, as 3C specializes in deep back country riding.
All 3C Guiding’s personnel are CPR and First Aid certified, as well as avalanche trained. Avalanche beacons, spot transmitters, and cell phones with other safety gear are main stays of our guiding gear.
Backcountry Guide Package
3C Guiding’s Backcountry Guide Package provided is a guided backcountry experience with a little technique instruction. The main intent for this package is to bring you out into the backcountry to find riding areas others don’t know about. Through the exploration of these riding areas, our guides will give you small technique instructions to assist you with your riding ability.

Rasmussen Style Guide Package
The Rasmussen Style Guide Package is 100% technique training on the snow. 3C Guiding is one of 3 companies that are certified to teach Ride Rasmussen Style techniques. This technique instruction that will help you gain the confidence and ability to navigate steeper and more extreme zones in a safe way.
